Norman Reedus: Death Stranding 2 is in early development…

We have just started the second part!!

International actor Norman Reedus confirmed that Death Stranding 2 appears to be under development, this was stated during a recent interview.

Although there has been no official announcement, the lead character “Sam” has admitted in the first part that work has begun on the second part, and he stated this to Leo Edit, where he said:

We have just started with Part Two.

When asked how he was involved in the first game, Reedus replied:

“Guillermo Del Toro, who gave me my first movie, called me and said, Hey, there’s a guy named Hideo Kojima, he’s going to call you, just say yes. Then I said to him, “What do you mean just say yes?” Then he said, stop being an idiot, just say yes.

“Then I was in San Diego and Hideo came in with a big group of people, and he showed me what he was working on in a game called Silent Hill. I was astonished by what he was showing me, and I said, “Yeah, let’s do this.” It’s something so realistic, it’s so futuristic, it’s so intricate and beautiful, and I was totally blown away.”

Reedus added that it took two or three years to finish all the mocap sessions and everything related to the game, and it took a lot of work. And then the game came out, and it just won all these accolades, which was a huge thing, so we just started working on the second part of it.

In March 2020, Reedus revealed that he was in talks to work on another project with Kojima, and last August he said he believed Death Stranding 2 was the intended title as discussions began about the sequel.
