Spec Ops The Line writer hired to direct Wolverine’s storytelling
He will work as a storytelling director for Wolverine
The announcement of the unveiling of Marvel’s Wolverine during the PlayStation Showcase event last year was a surprise of the highest caliber, as the video of the announcement only garnered more than 23 million views on the official PlayStation channel only, and it will be specially developed on the new generation PlayStation 5.
We heard earlier that Spec Ops The Line writer Walt Williams has joined Insomniac Games. At the time, the writer told us that he is mainly working on Marvel’s Wolverine as the main book.
Writer and author Walt Williams has also been involved in writing Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Star Wars Squadrons. Besides, he wrote a book called Significant Zero that takes us behind the scenes of some of the most famous video games industry.

And recently, it appears that the writer of Spec Ops The Line has been given an exciting promotion by studio Insomniac Games, being appointed as the lead director of the storytelling for Marvel’s Wolverine coming in 2023, as well as making changes and transfers of workers and developers on the game Spider- Man 2 and Wolverine.
Earlier, Bill Roseman, Vice President of Creative at Marvel Games, which owns the rights to the Spider-Man character, recently confirmed that the upcoming Spider-Man 2 game will be a deeper and darker epic, like the second Star Wars movie titled The Empire Strikes Back. This statement came from the latest episode of this week in the Marvel podcast via Eurogamer.
