Lots of improvements for the disabled
While we wait for Sony to reveal the release date of God of War Ragnarök, the company has shared with us new details about the game’s accessibility features.
Santa Monica studio has completely restructured the game in terms of accessibility, the user interface has been redesigned with more flexibility and readability, the map of console functions has also been redesigned from the ground up and added more customization to the combat and interaction systems in the game .
Features of the PC version of God of War 2018 have been added to God of War Ragnarök on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Sprint Auto: Runs while holding the stick and stops when you release it. But when Auto Sprint is on, you can start jogging by pressing the stick forward for a short period of time as it enters Auto Sprint mode.
Fixed point: If you need additional focal points to reduce motion sickness, or just want a constant reminder of the center of the screen, we offer the ability to operate a center point in three different sizes and seven different colors.
Aim mode: You can choose to use either the hold mode or toggle on/off the aiming mode on the target.
Shield Mode: You can choose to use either Install Mode or the Shield Mode On/Off toggle.
Also, more new access features have been brought to the game God of War Ragnarök that did not exist in the previous part, such as adjusting the size, color and type of subtitle font, by providing a lot of features and modifications that can suit the user.
The audio access options have also been improved, by enriching the sound effects that can reflect the atmosphere of the game and enable the user to learn more about the elements of the world by tracking these sounds.
It will also be possible to show the name of the speaking character on the screen and its pronunciation with the translation in the event that the user is against it.
There are many other improvements that God of War Ragnarök has received, such as improving the quality and sizes of icons and cues that can appear on the screen as desired by the user.
A new high contrast color mode has also been added, which will allow you to apply color to in-game characters such as targets, enemies, and other characters, as well as a variety of items.
When the style is active, this will apply a color layer to the letters which will make them more visible against the background. You can optionally desaturate the background to increase contrast. Transition paint, loot items, and special effects can also be made more visible in this mode.
There are more improvements and changes that the game will get which you can check out in the PlayStation post on the official blog.
