More about Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, which is expected next month…
Square Enix is preparing to reveal new announcements during the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy 7 next month. This is according to game director Tetsuya Nomura, who shared the news during a live broadcast highlighting Battle Royale Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier on Wednesday.
Announcements coming this June will likely include the reveal of the long-in-development Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, as Square Enix previously indicated that it would like to share new details about the sequel during this anniversary.
Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida also said that a new trailer for his game will be released soon.
Few details have been revealed about Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 so far, other than confirmation last year that Naoki Hamaguchi, co-director of FF7 Remake Part 1, will take over all full directing while Nomura will take on the broader creative responsibility.
Nomura also said that compared to last year’s re-release of Intergrade on the new generation, Part 2 will make more use of the PlayStation 5’s unique hardware features.
