Elden Ring has shipped 13.4 million copies since its launch.
Bandai Namco revealed today that the Elden Ring game managed to ship more than 13.4 million copies to global markets until the end of last March.
Although the number revealed refers to copies that have been sent to global stores, not copies that have already been sold, the publisher confirmed last month that the game has managed to sell more than 12 million copies already.
Elden Ring managed to achieve many achievements in the early days of its release, including high ratings from critics as well as from fans of souls games. In addition, the game managed to break records achieved by previous FromSoftware studio games such as Dark Souls 3, which was considered the studio’s strongest achievement.
Elden Ring is based on the legendary story written by George R. Martin. Where players enjoy a high level of freedom when venturing into its vast world, exploring its many secrets and confronting enemy leaders that have been crafted and built to become the best that fans of this type of game can experience. Yasuo Miyako, President and CEO of Bandai Namco, added:
A lot of effort has gone into building Elden Ring so that we can exceed the expectations of our fans around the world. In a similar way, we will continue our efforts to expand the brand beyond the game itself, and into everyone’s everyday life.
The game is still witnessing continuous demand during the current period and we expect it to achieve more new records, especially at the level of sales.
