FIFA ends its partnership with EA to officially become a FIFA game called EA Sports FC

FIFA 23 will be the last game licensed by the Federation.

EA, through CEO Cam Webber, has announced the end of its partnership with FIFA after nearly 28 years of cooperation, and FIFA 23 will be the last game that will use the FIFA licenses, and will now be called EA Sports FC.

The FIFA previously indicated its intention to terminate the contract between it and EA, especially after the federation requested one billion dollars from the publisher to extend the agreement for an additional 4 years only, and after the company refused this amount, the federation stated that it would search for a new partner to use its licenses.

We would like to thank our wonderful community of more than 150 million players globally who have worked to help create the largest football entertainment community in the world, the EA SPORTS FIFA Series, and after more than 30 years of this era we will now be creating a new interactive football experience. very soon.

In the near future, FIFA will be called EA SPORTS FC and it will be the future of football with you, with more than 300 licenses worldwide working together to take the game of global football to new heights, so we thank all those who contributed to this.

The new EA Sports FC series will retain all the features of the previous FIFA series as promised by CEO Cam Webber, as player favorites such as FIFA Ultimate Team as well as VOLTA Football, Career Mode and more will remain.

Also, the licenses obtained by the company and whose validity is still operating will remain the same, such as the English Premier League, the French and Spanish League, as well as the German and other major international leagues, as well as licenses for more than 700 teams, more than 100 stadiums, associations and more than 19,000 players worldwide and history.

It is also mentioned that FIFA is planning to develop its own football games without knowing details about whether FIFA wants to contract from a video game developer or develop it itself, and of course this will be very difficult.
