Babylon’s Fall continues to free fall and can only be played by one simultaneous player
Babylon’s Fall is a multiplayer role-playing game developed by PlatinumGames studio inspired by the stories of the Final Fantasy world series, and the publisher is Square Enix, which has sparked a lot of controversy recently.
Since its release, despite being delayed several times, the game has not been able to satisfy fans of this type of games, as it witnessed a very modest and even disappointing launch for a game from a talented studio like PlatinumGames, and it has received very poor reviews by critics and players as well.
The number of concurrent players for the game continues to drop on the PC platform according to Steam Charts data, as it saw only 1,000 concurrent players at launch, then the number quickly dropped to 500, and after several weeks the number of its concurrent players was only 77!
And through the latest data shared by Steam Charts, which in turn confirmed that the game reached only one player at midnight last May 4, which is the actual end of this game, which was released two months ago, and its price was $60.
These numbers come despite Square Enix and developer PlatinumGames confirming that the future of their new game, Babylon’s Fall, is not “in danger.” Despite the faltering launch and the harsh criticism that the game has received since its release several days ago, and the developer is working on a survey in order to obtain feedback and comments from players on how to improve the game experience.
