Sony has announced that it needs a specialist to manage the expansion strategy of bringing more PlayStation titles to the PC.

According to a job listing seen by VGC, the job, based in San Mateo, California, is looking for candidates who will be responsible for strategy and business within global channel sales and will achieve individual and enhanced business growth for PC sales.

The job listing is looking for candidates who can “lead PC sales growth and business strategy” as well as “develop and implement a business strategy for a global PC retailer.”

This announcement comes as part of Sony’s expansion strategy to release its exclusive titles from PlayStation Studios on the PC. This is a strategy that started last year with the release of some big titles like Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone. Sony prepares to release UNCHARTED: LEGACY OF THIEVES later this year.

Sony has not clearly specified how recent the games it will target to release on PC, but it is currently targeting titles that were released more than two years ago, with the exception of Uncharted, which was recently relaunched on PlayStation 5 and will be released later this year on PC.

In a previous report, God of War director Cory Barlog said that the developers at PlayStation Studios are asking Sony to release their games on the PC. While Jim Ryan, president of PlayStation, said that Sony wants to take a new path in order to deliver its great games to a wider fan base outside the framework of PlayStation.
